Websites
The Interest Forest
The Interest Forest is a website that catalogues hundreds of children's interest topics and links them to Australia's early childhood curriculum. The audience is educators and teachers.
I was involved in every aspect of the website's development, including SEO-friendly web design, research and writing, and photography. The site was built using Drupal, an enterprise-level CMS. I am currently involved with a rebuild that utilises ontologies and data-to-text generation.

Interactive websites
I have created several interactive websites that have simple goals and highly effective solutions. Try them yourself!
Magic Playground is an open-ended game for children, which means there are no rules and endless possibilities. It promotes sensory development and imagination. When children play together, it promotes language development and storytelling. It was designed specifically for tablets, which are often used in Australian early education settings.
Hue Variations is a colour tool for digital designers. It lets you explore colour variations based on a single hue. Select a hue and the grid will update instantly to show that hue across different saturation and lightness levels.
Photography
Fitness photography
View fitness-themed photos I took during a day of documentary photography. They feature the model participating in a personal training session at her gym. They are authentic and unstaged.
Illustrations
Beverage illustrations
I draw illustrations by hand, using a stylus. I aim for simple storytelling and brand personality. These beverages were created for a business's website and social media profiles.

Videography
Ellie and Shade
Ellie and Shade is a micro documentary about Ellie and her Labrador. They grew up together. This is their story.
Journalism
Lifestyle journalism
The following articles were written for major publications in Australia:
- It's just like a Bluey episode was written for The Guardian, and explores strategies for working from home with a toddler.
- A modern-day beauty pageant was also published in the Guardian. The story discusses the trend of mothers paying to endorse brands online.
- Why I embraced #vanliving was published by SBS.
- The articles "I was shamed by another mum for the pram I use" and "I used a maths formula to find a husband" were both published in Kidspot.
Advertising
Reddit advertising
These are examples of my own text-based Reddit ads. You may have even arrived at this page after clicking something like this.
Versions of these ads usually achieve between 5% and 7% CTR, which is high for Reddit. Out of those who do click on the post, approximately 45% click on the hyperlink that takes them to this website.
Read the two Reddit ads. Notice the difference in tone and writing style between them.
Google advertising
These are examples of Google ads for my PPC copywriting service. They have subtle but important differences. Read the three Google ads.
